Retractable Twist Locks offer a reliable solution for securing containers onto flatbed trailers during transport. They provide flexibility based on cargo requirements. Retractable twist locks are embedded into the trailer bed and can be lowered beneath the deck (virtually out of sight) when not in use, making them ideal for situations where a flatbed surface is also needed. They connect to the container from the bottom side of each corner casting, not the side. To operate, the handle is pulled, and the securing head is rotated to either engage into the locked position or disengage into the unlocked position. Unlike most of our products, which require no welding or painting, the Retractable Twist Lock does require welding for installation. This ensures a secure and durable attachment to the truck or trailer bed for safe and effective operation.
